“When I look at a striking or interesting landscape, flower, leaf, animal, dragonfly or architectural detail, I am inspired to think about how it will translate into a piece of jewelry. There is so much beauty in this world and so many ways to interpret the vision and the feelings that each element evokes. When designing, I start with a basic idea of what I want to create, but I may not always know exactly how the piece will evolve. This fluidity has resulted in my work being described as organic, eclectic and unique.”
